DGCA allows low visibility ops in Gondia on IndiGo ATR 72

The Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) has approved special VFR operations for Indigo at Gondia airport in Maharashtra. This approval allows Indigo's ATR 72-600 aircraft to operate at Gondia airport in reduced visibility. The regulator stated that this step addresses flight delays, diversions, and cancellations due to low visibility at small airports. The approval includes a feedback mechanism for analysis and review of the first 30 flights operating under special VFR procedures.
