JSW Utkal Steel receives possession of 2600 acres forest land in Odisha for greenfield Integrated Steel Plant
JSW Steel's subsidiary, JSW Utkal Steel, has received documents for the possession of 2677.80 acres of forest land for a greenfield Integrated Steel Plant (ISP). The total land required for the plant is 2950.31 acres, with 2677.80 acres forest land and 272.51 acres non-forest land. The plant is expected to cost around Rs 65,000 crore and could take up to 5-7 years to reach its full capacity.
