IndiGo announces direct connectivity between Mumbai and Ayodhya
IndiGo announced direct flights between Mumbai and Ayodhya starting January 15, 2024. The flights will provide direct accessibility to Ayodhya, making the journey smoother and shorter for travelers. In addition to the Mumbai-Ayodhya route, IndiGo will also operate flights from Delhi and Ahmedabad to Ayodhya. The newly built Ayodhya airport, Maryada Purushottam Shri Ram International Airport, will be inaugurated on December 30, 2023, and has a runway capable of handling Airbus 320 and Boeing 737 aircraft. The airport features a terminal building designed to showcase the culture and heritage of Ayodhya.
