November witnessed a 6% surge in domestic natural gas consumption compared to the previous year, driven by enhanced supply from local fields, according to oil ministry data. Liquefied natural gas (LNG) imports grew by 5%, complementing a 7.6% rise in output from domestic gas fields. Notably, private sector-operated fields saw a substantial 26% boost in production.
