Survey: Himachal Pradesh, Rajasthan see highest youth unemployment rate in July-September
Himachal Pradesh, Rajasthan, and J&K had the highest unemployment rates in the 15-29 years age group in urban areas, according to the latest quarterly Periodic Labour Force Survey. Gujarat and Delhi had the lowest joblessness rates. The overall unemployment rate in this age group was 17.3% in the September quarter, slightly slower than the previous quarter. Among males, Rajasthan had the highest unemployment rate, while among females, J&K had the highest rate.
