Soon, farms to have sensors to track efficient use of resources
The government is planning installation of sensors in farms to track use of water, fertilisers, chemicals and pesticides to bring about more efficiency in their usage. It has begun work on smart farming, on the lines of the just announced drone scheme, said officials.
