About valuing the talented Mr. Altman
Entities such as OpenAI are worthless without its army of technologists. Analogies are being drawn with the sacking of Steve Jobs. But Jobs was going through a bad phase in his career, and he was not Apple CEO when he was sacked. A more apt analogy would be the sacking of Elon Musk, Mark Zuckerberg or Jeff Bezos at the top of their game.
