Union Minister Hardeep Singh Puri announced on Thursday that India is currently undertaking the largest planned urbanization program globally. Speaking at the launch of CITIIS 2.0 (City Investments To Innovate, Integrate, and Sustain challenge), the Union Housing and Urban Affairs Minister highlighted that total investments in urban development since 2014 have surged tenfold, surpassing Rs 18 lakh crore in comparison to the preceding 10-year period.
