LG India's revenue crosses Rs 20,000 cr mark in FY23

LG Electronics India, the country's largest home appliance manufacturer, achieved a revenue of ₹20,112 crore in FY23, marking a 17% year-on-year growth. Additionally, the company reported a 14% year-on-year increase in profit after tax to ₹1,345 crore for the fiscal year. Although the filings did not provide specific reasons for the increase in sales and net profit, LG's home appliances segment, including refrigerators, washing machines, air conditioners, and televisions, contributed bulk of the sales for the year. In contrast, rival Samsung India's home appliance business sales in FY23 amounted to ₹11,844 crore.
