Indus Towers Q2 net profit rises 49 per cent to Rs 1,295 crore

Indus Towers, a telecom infrastructure company, reported a 49% increase in consolidated net profit to Rs 1,295 crore in the September quarter. The company's consolidated revenue declined 10% to Rs 7,133 crore. The quarter included revenues from the settlement of old dues and provision for doubtful debt. Indus Towers also reached a milestone of 200,000 macro towers and added 16,286 towers on a year-on-year basis. The company aims to capitalize on the opportunity presented by network expansion and 5G rollouts.
