Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the priority section of the Delhi-Ghaziabad-Meerut Regional Rapid Transit System Corridor, which will improve connectivity between Delhi and west Uttar Pradesh. He also dedicated two stretches of the Bengaluru metro's east-west corridor.
