Celebrating Navratri

During Navratri, the Nine Nights, India worships the Mother with devotion. Dussehra, Durga Puja, and Navratri are all the same. The first three nights worship the destructive aspect of the Mother, Durga. The next three nights adore the creative aspect, Lakshmi. The last three nights invoke the knowledge aspect, Saraswati. The tenth day, Vijay Dashmi, celebrates victory, with boys starting school and initiations taking place. On this day, workers in different fields perform Ayudha Puja, worshipping the Devi for success and prosperity.
