NHAI upgrades Advanced Traffic Management System

The National Highways Authority of India has introduced an upgraded Advanced Traffic Management System (ATMS) to enhance road safety and enforcement on national highways. The new system includes the installation of Video Incident Detection and Enforcement System (VIDES) cameras every 10 km along the highways, integrated at command and control centers every 100 km.
