The growth of smart televisions in India will be driven by the high-speed 5G network and fixed wireless services offered by Jio and Airtel, according to Xiaomi India President Muralikrishnan B. He stated that there is a fantastic opportunity to gain more market share in the next three to six months, and that having a good home broadband connection is crucial for smart TV viewing. Muralikrishnan also expects the demand for higher resolution 4K smart TVs to rise during the festive season.
