New study finds diagnosis of Type 2 diabetes at 30 can decrease life expectancy by 14 years

A study published in The Lancet Diabetes & Endocrinology found that people diagnosed with type 2 diabetes at the age of 30 could see their life expectancy reduced by up to 14 years. Even those diagnosed at the age of 50 could see a reduction of up to six years.
