Master director Martin Scorsese believes that the film industry he was a part of 50 years ago is "over" and that studios are no longer interested in supporting individual voices on a big budget. In an interview with GQ magazine, Scorsese called on filmmakers to "save cinema" and fight against the dominance of franchise and comic book entertainment.
