Manipal Hospitals, the second-largest hospital chain in India, has completed the acquisition of an 84% stake in AMRI Hospitals Ltd. The acquisition is part of Manipal Hospitals' strategy to expand its footprint in eastern India and strengthen its presence. The deal, worth Rs 2,400 crore, was finalized after prolonged negotiations and court battles.
