IndiGo, Air India to set up leasing units at GIFT City
IndiGo will invest Rs 30 crore in its leasing unit and issue a corporate guarantee of up to $996 million. Air India has already established an aircraft leasing unit in the special economic zone and has ordered 470 aircraft. The government aims to develop GIFT City as a global leasing hub and has announced tax breaks to attract global players.
