India's exports from Coimbatore have increased to $776 billion USD from $500 billion USD in just two years, despite challenges such as the recession and the Russia-Ukraine war, according to Union Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal. He attributed this growth to the efforts of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the cooperative federalism between the central and state governments.
