Marriott to post over $1b in India revenue this year: Rajeev Menon, president, Asia Pacific at Marriott International
Marriott has 145 operational hotels in India totalling about 27,000 rooms and has opened 10 new hotels so far this year. "We have signed over eight hotels this year already, and there are a number of ongoing discussions. We have 145 hotels open in India, and in South Asia, 156, but in India itself, between now and the end of next year alone, we will add 50 more hotels," said Menon.
