Vegetable prices likely to cool down next month, rising crude a concern: FinMin official

Vegetable prices are forecast to decrease next month with the new crop harvest, according to a finance ministry official who stated that the government is concerned about rising crude oil prices as they are inching towards the tolerable zone of $90 per barrel. The official further said that reduction in excise duty on petrol and diesel is not on cards.
