Study finds brains of overweight people have different 'appetite control centre’

Researchers at the University of Cambridge have found differences in the hypothalamus region of the brain in people who are overweight or obese. Using machine learning, 1,351 young adults were scanned and researchers found that the overall volume of the hypothalamus was significantly larger in those who were overweight or living with obesity.
