India sees significant increase in inflammatory bowel disease, says Lancet study

A recent study by the IBD Center of the Asian Institute of Gastroenterology (AIG) in Hyderabad, India, shows that prevalence of inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) has increased from 0.1% to over 5% in 16 years in the region.
