GoI's decision, in response to two cases of short-term employees leaking sensitive information, to not give temporary employees access to classified government documents, may not serve any real protection. Of course, those found guilty of breaching official secrecy must be punished. But a more effective solution will require revisiting the question of why people working in temp positions for government choose to undermine it.
