"There have recently been trades carried out on a trial basis between banks and other market participants, including primary dealers, for settlements in the call money market using the CBDC for the first time. Essentially, it is outside the scope of the 'e-Kuber' platform and the RTGS (real-time gross settlement)," a source aware of the developments said.
