Foxconn Industrial Internet (FII), a subsidiary of Foxconn, is in discussion with Tamil Nadu state in southern India to invest up to $200m in a new plant for electronic components. The giant contract electronics manufacturer, which already has an assembly plant for Apple iPhones near Chennai city, is looking to enter the Indian semiconductor sector.
