ADB retains India's growth forecast at 6.4% for current FY
The Asian Development Bank (ADB) has retained its forecast of India's economic growth at 6.4% for FY24 due to recovery in consumption demand in rural and urban areas, but highlighted that slow exports due to the global slowdown will still weigh on growth. ADB also lowered its inflation projection for the current fiscal year to 4.9%, from 5%, due to falling crude oil prices.
