After France and UAE, Indonesia could be next in line to make UPI deal with India

India and Indonesia have reached an agreement to promote local currencies and work on a real-time payment mechanism. The two countries are also looking to expand digital payments between them, including exploring the use of UPI and similar tools. Indian exporters could settle their trade payments in Indonesian rupiah, while the other party could earn in Indian rupees.
