India aims to preserve the G20's identity and ethos as a forum for growth and prioritises sustainable development, according to an official statement released at the end of a three-day Sherpas' meeting chaired by Amitabh Kant. The G20 presidency outline six priorities to embody this goal: the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), green development, reform of multilateral development banks, digital public infrastructure and gender equality.
