Deal values plummet 78 pc between January -June due to economic challenges: Report

India's deal-making activities declined in the first half of 2023 due to uncertainty causing supply chain disruptions, leading to inflation and fluctuating interest rates, according to a report by Grant Thornton Bharat. Only 676 deals with a total value of $ 23 billion occurred in this period, representing a decline of 78% and 42% in value and volume, respectively.
