Monsoon Mayhem: Jugaad won't wash, it'll only drown
In Himachal Pradesh, the Beas is washing away highways, heavy vehicles, residences, hotels and bridges like Lego toys. Nearly 700 roads are blocked in Himachal and 100 in Uttarakhand due to mud- and landslides. At least 34 lives have been lost in the last three days. Such apocalyptic scenes are not new.
