Oppo says India operations unaffected by High Court's 23% deposit ruling

The Delhi High Court has ordered Oppo to deposit almost a quarter of the amount it last paid Nokia as royalty, following a patent infringement case. The deposit must be made within four weeks. Oppo said the ruling related merely to a temporary deposit for warranty and would not affect sales or operations in India. Nokia filed the case against Oppo for alleged SEPs infringement nearly two years ago and has received no payment to date.
