HDFC Bank says merged loan book with HDFC at $273.8 billion as of June end
HDFC Bank's merged loan book with Housing Development Finance Corporation reached INR22.45tn ($273.77bn) by end June 2021, the bank said. On a pro forma basis, HDFC Bank's loan book rose 13.1% year on year in Q2 2021. HDFC Bank completed a $40bn merger with HDFC on 1 July, the biggest in Indian corporate history, putting it in the top 10 by market capitalisation.
