The Confederation of All India Traders (CAIT) has called for a fresh review of the Goods and Services Tax (GST) in India. CAIT suggests the formation of a special task force, consisting of senior government officials and representatives from the business community, to simplify and rationalize the GST system. CAIT also recommends the creation of a GST coordination committee at the district level to address local tax issues and involve local business organizations.
