P&G India to invest Rs 2,000cr to set up an export hub in Gujarat

Procter & Gamble India announced that it will invest Rs 2,000 crore to set up a new personal healthcare manufacturing facility in Gujarat. The investment was announced by LV Vaidyanathan, CEO, P&G India, after a meeting with Gujarat CM Bhupendra Patel. The facility builds on top of the P&G India’s existing manufacturing footprint of 8 plants across the country and expands the existing presence in Gujarat. The company already has a manufacturing plant in Sanand, Ahmedabad, since 2015.
