Indian handicraft industry expected to see a 6-8% decline this fiscal year

The largely export-oriented Indian handicraft industry is expected to see a 6-8 per cent decline to $3.3bn this fiscal year due to a slowdown in discretionary spending; however, due to a healthy balance sheet and negligible capex debt, the industry's credit profile will stay stable, according to CRISIL Ratings.
