Sequoia Capital sells entire 10.18% stake in Go Fashion via bulk deal; ICICI Pru Life, Societe General buy

Sequoia Capital has sold its entire 10.18% stake in Go Fashion (India) through bulk deals on Monday for Rs 624 crore. Domestic and foreign investors including ICICI Pru Life, BNP Paribas, Kuwait Investment Authority and Societe Generale bought the shares through open market transactions. The public shareholders in Go Fashion now own 47.21% of the company, out of which mutual funds have 24.14%. Go Fashion is India's first company to launch a brand exclusively dedicated to women’s bottom wear apparel with approximately 8% market share in branded women’s bottom wear market in India.
