Indian carriers plan to fly in 115 jets to fill up gap left by Go First

IndiGo, which has around 60% share of India's domestic market, will see a net addition of around 50 aircraft by the end of FY24. While the current fleet size is 304, senior executives of the airline said they have planned for 350 aircraft by end of FY24. They said if engine supply improves, the capacity addition will be higher. The airline has around 35 aircraft grounded due to shortage of engines.
