Building more nuclear plants to provide reliable, always-on, zero-emissions power generation can seem like a simple decision. Yet, in many important markets, including Europe, Japan and the US, public scepticism and hostility to doing so remains. The great majority of new nuclear construction is taking place in Asia, particularly in China, India and South Korea. Russia and Turkey are also building multiple plants.
