India's strong digital public infrastructure, including Aadhaar and UPI, has helped promote trade and make payments much easier, according to Rajesh Nambiar, MD of Cognizant India. He believes that generative AI could enhance productivity and quality of life, but questions about governance structures remain. Nambiar sees India's technological innovations, such as UPI, as a way to move closer to standing at par with the world in terms of digital infrastructure.
