Ground realities to guide rate action in June, inflation may have eased further in May: RBI Governor
Reserve Bank of India (RBI) governor Shaktikanta Das on Wednesday said the monetary policy committee (MPC) would be guided by “what’s happening on the ground” on the issue of whether to take a pause again or not in its next meeting in June, even as he expected retail inflation to ease further in May from April’s 18-month low of 4.7%.
