VA Tech Wabag aims to become a debt-free company in the next two to three years by focusing on reducing its debt levels further. While bidding on large municipal contracts, the company wants to concentrate more on EP contracts than EPC contracts and participate in projects, where the funding is backed by multilateral or sovereign governments. It is also increasing its focus on industrial orders and has a good pipeline of orders for high-tech projects like recycling, reuse, and treatment of polluted wastewater.
