The stock of Restaurant Brand Asia hit the 20% upper circuit at Rs 128.4 on BSE amid media reports that a consortium of private-equity firms, including Advent and General Atlantic, and Jubilant Foodworks are among entities in talks to buy Everstone's entire stake in Restaurant Brands Asia. It is learnt that Everstone is in talks to offload its entire stake in Restaurant Brands Asia, which is the operator of fast food chains like Burger King.
