The Bank of New York Mellon (BNY Mellon) is in talks to lease a commercial tower with almost 1 million sq ft of office space in Pune's Kharadi locality from Prestige Group for nine years. If concluded, the deal is expected to be the largest commercial property transaction of the year. BNY Mellon is likely to use the office space to house its global capability centre via BNY Mellon International Operations. The lease deal is expected to include a 15% rental escalation every three years, according to unidentified sources.
