SLCM Group disburses more than Rs 85 crore to over 19,000 women entrepreneurs in FY23

Agriculture warehousing company SLCM Group's Kissandhan has provided over Rs 84.80 crore to more than 19,000 women entrepreneurs in FY23 through its 'Business Correspondent (BC) Partnership Lending Programme'. Kissandhan Agri Finance business unit intends to address the lack of access to credit and decision-making power faced by women in agriculture in India. The average loan size provided by the business correspondents is INR40,000 ($537). The scheme has already impacted over 6 lakh farmers, agricultural traders and processors by disbursing loans over Rs 2,700 crore.
