Bankman-Fried asks court to dismiss charges over FTX collapse

Former FTX CEO Sam Bankman-Fried has requested a US federal court to dismiss 10 of the 13 charges he faces over the collapse of his crypto exchange. His lawyers argue that in some charges, prosecutors did not "state an offense" or "allege a valid property right." Bankman-Fried pleaded not guilty to fraud, conspiracy, and money laundering charges. He is currently under house arrest after being extradited to the US from the Bahamas in December. Some allegations suggest he cheated investors and misused funds belonging to FTX and Alameda Research customers.
