While IDFC First Bank loan book grew by 24%, operating profit surged 67%; good operating leverage kicking in: V Vaidyanathan

The bank's collection percentage has consistently been reported to be between 99.5% and 99.6%. While the bank's loan book has grown by 24%, operating profit has grown by 67%. Vaidyanathan does not foresee the bank facing any NPA issues as they have been watchful of asset quality, with a net NPA on retail at 0.55% and a gross NPA of 1.55%. The bank is aiming for sustainable growth at 23-25%.
