Foreigners snap up $2 billion of India’s index-eligible debt

Foreign investors have purchased $2.1bn of India's high-yielding government bonds this year, crossing $2bn for fully accessible route bonds, as they were net buyers every month. JP Morgan’s survey showed that 60% of global investors favored debt from India for inclusion in the emerging markets index.
