Bumper Apple harvest: iPhone FY23 exports jump 4x to top $5 billion

According to trade and industry data, Apple's iPhone exports from India have increased almost fourfold year-on-year, crossing $5 billion in FY23, as suppliers of the company increased production locally. The Cupertino-based firm has become the first company to cross the $5-billion mark regarding exports from India. India's overall smartphone exports also exceeded $10 billion for the first time in a financial year, boosted by Samsung, accounting for roughly $3.5-$4 billion in FY23.
