How to keep living heritage alive like the 3,000-odd old churches that are well preserved but due to dwindling membership of the Church of Sweden and the declining demand for church services, have had to be locked up? Not really. Unused sacred buildings could be turned alive again, maybe not for church attendance and services but to serve as public spaces that educate and inform, as recreation centres, libraries and skills imparting centres.
